This is going to be easy...

Maqqii

Maths at your child's own level. Dozens of sums in a few minutes.

Maqqii is a balanced network of maths skills: every skill acquired clears the way to others, while development stays broad. Along the way, charts and figures show progress and any sticking points, and your child builds a cosy little village as they go.

1. Start right away

No account needed. From number lines, addition and subtraction to times tables, fractions, powers and more — with just the sum on the screen, and help when it gets hard. That is how your child does dozens in a few minutes. And an exercise only counts as mastered when a whole round goes right, and quickly.

  • Placing a number on the number line between 1 and 10
  • Adding past ten, up to 20, with the answer box and the number keys
  • A number sequence: which number comes next?
  • Subtracting up to 100, past ten
  • Adding fractions with different denominators, with pies alongside
  • Powers: work out the power

2. At their own level

Not age but ability counts. Every exercise your child masters opens the next — and what they already know, they skip in one go with a test. Every topic has its next exercise ready, led by the one left longest, so nothing slips. So your child always works at their own level, and can always go back to earlier exercises.

  • A child's overview: the exercise that is up next, the tests and free practice
  • All topics in a row, with the progress in each
  • The addition topic: adding to 5 is open; to 10, 20 and beyond follow once the earlier part is done
  • How the exercises connect: what comes before, the parts of adding to 10, and what opens after

3. A village your child builds

By doing sums and finishing exercises, your child grows the village entirely their own way. They put down houses and mills, lay paths and reshape the land — in the village birds fly and children play, and it is a place for a breather, too, after all the hard work.

  • A two-storey house on its own in the snowy forest, with a sign outside: Addition to 100
  • Three children playing catch in an open clearing in the autumn woods
  • Three houses on stilts beside a wide river, in spring
  • A whole village from above: houses of every shape in the forest, with a mill in the middle and paths joining them

4. You see how it goes

Every Sunday evening the weekly report in your mail: what was practised and how far your child has come. The charts show every round, sum by sum, and how quickly the answers come. You choose which topics your child practises.

  • A child's weekly report as a PDF: the village, the week, the exercises and two charts
  • Chart of time per problem: the fastest, the latest and the average round
  • One round in detail: every sum with its answer and its time
  • Answer time: how long the answers take, from earlier to later
  • Topics per child: choose which topics your child practises

Two weeks of everything, free

After that, practice stays free and three exercises a day count. Go on without limit with a Seat: €4 a month per child, cancel any month.

Maqqii is still in alpha: new, and very much being built. Accounts and progress are kept through updates — Maqqii makes sure of that. If you do see something odd, tell Maqqii.
