How a worksheet works

Every worksheet has four rounds of ten sums. The building-up sheet has a round of each step: add a whole number, add a hundredth, add a thousandth and add in the right place. The other sheets practise one exercise for all four rounds.

Let your child do one round at a time; that is a few minutes’ work. Then mark it with the answer sheet: every sum is in exactly the same place there, so you simply lay the two sheets side by side. Write the number correct in the ‘Correct’ box.

Every sheet is different: ‘New worksheet’ gives you new sums, and the code at the top right belongs to exactly that sheet and its answers. With the QR code your child can practise the same on a tablet or phone too.
